Ashley Cunningham
English, Writing, History
B.A. in History, Georgia Gwinnett College – Lawrenceville, GA (2016)
Ashley is a history major with five years of teaching experience at Covenant Co-op (Buford, GA) and also works part-time as a writing tutor at Lanier Technical College. Despite being a history major, Ashley has a great love for writing. She has participated in and won National November Writing Month several times, enjoys writing screenplays and fantasy novels, and beta-reads for other writers. As a teacher, she hopes to encourage an appreciation for and an understanding of good writing, mainly because both are quickly becoming lost arts. When not teaching or writing stories, Ashley also enjoys astronomy, music, critiquing bad writing, caring for her two guinea pigs, and spending time with her family.
Michelle homeschooled three children over twenty years and concurrently taught classes in biology, chemistry, anatomy and physiology, earth science, and physical science at Geneva Academy (Buford, GA; 5 years) and Covenant Homeschool Co-op (Buford, GA; 15 years). In teaching the sciences, Michelle hopes to impart God's love and care for creation in His marvelous design, sustaining power, and even the humor and joy reflected in all His creatures. She is an avid bird watcher and gardener, enjoys hiking, and prefers taking her own wildlife photos for class presentations. She has visited 26 of the 71 ecosystems in the state of Georgia, often accompanied by her students, and aspires to see the other 45. Michelle and her husband, Jeff, have been married for 32 years and have three grandchildren.
