The Seniors of the Class of 2008 have undertaken to record the history of the historic Lostine School house in Lostine Oregon. When Providence Academy bought the property in August of 2000 the school house had spent the last twenty years as tire storage for a local tire company.

The school was once the center of the community and the families of Providence look forward to the day when it is again. This history project is an attempt to preserve the stories of those still living who went to public school here and embrace our local history through tales, pictures, audio interviews and by recording the ever unfolding history of this great place.
